A Typical Day At Nursery

Every day balances routines, play and care so children feel secure while building confidence and independence.

Arrival and settling in

Children are welcomed into the room, settle with staff and begin the day feeling safe and known.

Morning play and activities

Planned activities and child-led play support learning, curiosity and early friendships.

Snack and lunch

Mealtimes help build routines, independence and social confidence as part of the nursery day.

Outdoor play

Children enjoy fresh air, movement and exploration in our enclosed outdoor spaces.

Rest and quiet time

Sleep, quiet activities and calm moments are built around each child’s stage and individual needs.

Learning and development

Supporting children through the EYFS

Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping children build confidence, communication, physical skills and early understanding through play.

As children grow, we support school readiness with observations, guided activities and early work on letters, sounds and rhyming.
